Your Questions, Answered

    1. The screen is black, but the headset is on.

      • Wake from Standby: Press the power button once (do not hold) to wake the device from standby mode.

      • Hard Restart: If the unit is completely unresponsive, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to force a full reboot.

    2. Why can’t I see my hands?

      • Field of View: Ensure your hands are within the tracking cameras' "Field of View" (directly in front of the headset).

      • Lighting Conditions: Check that the room is well-lit; tracking sensors require adequate light to map hand movements.

      • Camera Obstruction: Ensure the tracking cameras on the front of the headset are not covered, smudged, or dirty.

      • Controller Interference: Verify that hand controllers have batteries removed and are stored away. The Meta system must prioritize hand tracking signal without controller interference.

    3. Why does the ArborXR menu say "No Internet Connection"?

      • Wi-Fi Check: Access Wi-Fi settings in the ArborXR home menu.

      • Mandatory Updates: A stable connection is required to receive mandatory software updates for any KOVR VR Experience

    4. Why is my boundary moving or shifting?

      • Reset your boundary via the ArborXR menu.

      • Avoid using the headset in rooms with large mirrors, glass, or highly reflective surfaces, as these confuse the tracking sensors.

    1. What should I do if the headset is not powering on?

      • Connect the headset to the provided adapter; ensure it is fully charged before use.

      • If the unit won't turn on, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to reset the power cycle.

    2. What is the best way to clean the equipment?

      • Use alcohol-free, antibacterial wipes on the face pad and outer plastic shell.

      • CRITICAL: Use only a dry, lint-free, optical-grade microfiber cloth. Never apply liquids, alcohol, or chemical cleansers directly to the lenses, as this will permanently damage the optical coating.

    3. What should I do if the headset feels blurry or out of focus?

      • Physically move the headset up and down on your face until the text is sharp.

      • Use the lens spacing wheel on the bottom left of the headset (Meta Quest 3) to adjust the distance between lenses until the visuals are clear.

    4. Where should I store the headset when I'm finished?

      • Turn the headsets completely off and store them in a cool, dark area.

      • Warning: Keep lenses away from windows; direct sunlight can cause permanent burn damage to the internal screens in less than a minute.

    5. How do I turn the headset on and off?

      • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the Meta logo appears.

      • Hold the power button for 5 seconds until you hear the power-off chime and the screen goes dark.

    6. How long will the battery last during use?

      • Expect between 2 to 2.5 hours of continuous use on a full charge.

      • To preserve battery health, ensure the headset is turned completely off before storage.

    7. Why should I take the batteries out of the controllers?

      • Removing batteries ensures the Meta system defaults to Hand Tracking for the simulator.

    1. What is the ArborXR Home?

      • This is a simplified interface designed to help you launch any KOVR Product immediately without standard Meta menus.

    2. How do I return to the ArborXR dashboard from inside the training?

    4. What if the app says "Downloading" or "Waiting"?
